Afsal Mohammed B, India 🇮🇳

Afsal Mohammed B is a social volunteer and entrepreneur from Kerala, India. Volunteering is his ever-time passion and life. Over the past 17 years, he has engaged with over 1,00,000 youth nationwide, spearheading numerous initiatives aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. His aspiration is to create a network of youth who can be the change and changemakers in the community. This vision led to the founding of The Social Captains, a youth-led non-profit organization dedicated to reimagining volunteerism by engaging, empowering, and encouraging young people to address issues in their communities. He has received prestigious recognitions, including the Millennium Ocean Prize 2019, Millennium Fellowship 2018, and iVolunteer Awards in 2018 & 2019

Akpoyovwaire Aghogho Uniquette, Nigeria 🇳🇬

Akpoyovwaire Aghogho Uniquette passionately champions Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG 3) through her advocacy for Sickle Cell disease awareness. As the founder of iTOUCH AFRICA, she tirelessly raises awareness about sickle cell and offers crucial support to affected individuals and their families. With a professional background in communications for an NGO, Aghogho brings valuable expertise to her advocacy work. A dedicated volunteer, she actively contributes to initiatives like Global Shapers Warri Hub, YALi Lagos, and Pact Hub Lagos, showcasing her commitment to driving positive change and making a lasting impact in her community.

Amarachukwu Nwokokoro, Nigeria 🇳🇬

Amarachukwu Nwokokoro is a social development advocate, Lawyer , author & content creator who values dedication, excellence and impact. As a dedicated visionary, Creating Impact & Inspiring Passionate Minds is what drives her daily. She is a passionate business owner, founder and creator dedicated to making an impact in the world and most especially Africa. These passions have motivated her to become Nation-builder and create several platforms such as IRUKA, NaijaWave, Lilies Africa and plenty more. These platforms form as tools for me to create the transformations she desires in the world falling under the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) , Quality Education (4) & Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions (16).

Ariana Dongo, Peru 🇵🇪

Ariana Dongo is an education activist and sociology student from the Peruvian Amazon. Her social activism started within her local community at the age of 12. At 16, she started volunteering as an after-school and English teacher in a disadvantaged community in Loreto: Belén. There, she developed a strong commitment to improving the quality and access to education for K-12 students in her region, which led her to represent her country as a Rotary Youth Exchange Student to promote peace and international understanding in France. She focuses her activism on literacy, global citizenship education, and gender equality.

Birndze Bete, Cameroon 🇨🇲

Birndze Bete is a social entrepreneur and youth activist with a BSc in Animal Science. He has dedicated close to a decade to working with youth in underserved communities, creating innovative solutions to pressing community challenges, and has founded three impact-driven, youth-led initiatives: CAED Africa, YOCILAB, and Green Space Academy, which have collectively impacted over half a million youths. Birndze has received international recognition and support from several global organizations. Additionally, he was appointed as The Queen Commonwealth Trust Network Hub Communication Lead. Birndze is interested in connecting and co-creating with individuals and initiatives interested in promoting access to education and skill development for underserved youths.

Dana Khairallah, Lebanon 🇱🇧

Dana Khairallah is a passionate youth ambassador for sustainable community impact, emphasizing on advocacy, youth empowerment, and project management. Her journey involves facilitating global discussions, collaborating with stakeholders, and mobilizing communities, while showcasing a comprehensive approach to the SDGs and leadership development. She co-founded 'MEN7ella,' a top-ranking mental health initiative and led it amid challenges. Serving as Advisory Board Member at UNDP Lebanon, she contributes to the Youth Leadership Programme, driving impactful social change.

Dawodu Oluwananumi, Nigeria 🇳🇬

Dawodu Oluwananumi is a Medical Doctor having bagged his Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery degree from Lagos State University College of Medicine Ikeja. He is an award winning social entrepreneur, a recipient of the 2021 Princess Diana Award of Wales, United Kingdom - the most prestigious award for a young person in humanitarian service. He is recognized for his work at Health Drive Nigeria focused on SDG3 while providing free screening and vaccination for people at different socioeconomic status as the Research Director of Health Drive Nigeria. He is an Ambassador for the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene United Kingdom.

Fatima Sabeh, Lebanon 🇱🇧

Fatima is a 25 year-old, born in Beirut, Lebanon and a graduate of International Affairs. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Non-violent Communication and Mediation, and she's been deeply involved in the humanitarian sector since 2019, working with youth in conflict-prone areas. Certified as a life skills trainer, she conducts sessions on debate, communication, and sports for development. Dedicated to her country, Fatima passionately believes in the transformative power of the youth. Her work aims to cultivate compassion and understanding among conflicting communities in her country, viewing her generation as catalysts for positive change in Lebanon's intricate socio-political landscape.

Hamza Haki El Kharroubi, Morocco 🇲🇦

Hamza Haki El Kharroubi is a young Moroccan changemaker, who is invested in approaching social and environmental injustices through innovation. He leads a national NGO that trains youth on social innovation and represents Moroccan youth at the EU through Jeel Connect. He peruses his research in UNESCO about climate adaptation in the Arab world. Also, He works as CEO of two startups dedicated to promoting sustainable economy by providing technological solutions. Through these multifaceted endeavors Haki has meticulously cultivated a vast network, enabling him to amplify his impact and enhance his capabilities.

Hiba Zeineddine, Lebanon 🇱🇧

Hiba Zeineddine is a Lebanese Architectural Designer, marked by her dedication to using design as a tool for community enhancement. Her influential work at NAHNOO, Lebanese Organization stands out, particularly her involvement in various public space initiatives. A notable project is the "Coast for All" campaign, where it focused on preserving maritime areas and championing the rights of youth to public spaces. Hiba extends her commitment beyond architecture to environmental and educational projects, advocating for sustainable development. Her work in developing youth sports and public spaces reflects her belief in their essential role in fostering community cohesion. Renowned for her innovative approach in architecture and public space design, Hiba is recognized as a dynamic changemaker, fervently dedicated to creating inclusive, safe, and engaging environments for diverse communities.

John Park, USA 🇺🇸

John Park is a Korean American residing in New York City with roots in different geographies. He’s a listener, community-builder, and basin of the grace of God 🌧️. John’s experience lies in participatory research & program management in the fields of public health, youth development, and education. He has a passion for empowering young people to deeply investigate the world around them and uncover creative youth-led solutions for healthier, more equitable communities. Although he never writes in third-person outside of bios, he does enjoy writing letters, notes, and the occasional poem.

Kenndicta A-ensonga Ajene, Ghana 🇬🇭

Growing up in one of the poorest regions of Ghana, Kenndicta knew from a rather tender age countless people had to be uplifted from impoverishment. Starting her formative education in the Upper East and West regions, Kenndicta proceeded to the University of Ghana where she obtained a BSc. in Marketing and MSc. International Business. From taking up volunteering roles to forming the A-ensonga Hearts Foundation, Kenndicta’s vision has been to provide quality education for children, potable water, and most importantly build resilience of youth and women through livelihood empowerment opportunities. Kenndicta was nominated for the 2023 Youth Change Maker awards.

Kudakwashe Foya, Zimbabwe 🇿🇼

Kudakwashe is a youth empowerment enthusiast, with 6 years of experience in the educational and professional development space as a teacher, mentor, researcher, and co-founder. This translated into mentoring social impact entities at events like the MIT Grand Hackathon, and Merge Policython, mentoring 15+ impact projects solving global challenges in health and education. Subsequently, she mentored "The book campaign project" as a Peace First Regional Ambassador which provided textbooks and library access to students in Gwanda. She co-founded a social impact entity called The LA Initiative which works to democratize educational and professional development opportunities and has now engaged 708 youths, mentors, and speakers across 9 countries. As a Say What Research Fellow, a program supported by the Swedish embassy, she looked into inclusive education for students of determination in times of systemic disruptions like COVID-19.

Maureen Aggie Alor, Nigeria 🇳🇬

Maureen Aggie Alor is a development program specialist with over 2 years of experience, focusing on projects that impact young people, especially women and girls. She worked at Bridge Connect Africa Initiative in Kano State, where she provided information on sexual health and advocated against gender-based violence. Maureen has supported the implementation and coordination of diverse programs and work plans. With a degree in Public Administration, her leadership drive comes from her own experiences as a girl, pushing her to work on projects that reduce inequality. Maureen's goal is to inspire young changemakers for a positive impact on their communities.

Natalee Benzing , USA 🇺🇸

Natalee is a proud first-generation college graduate and champion for college access, equity, and inclusion. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Boston College and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Higher Education from the University of Denver. She serves as the Program Director and Chief of Staff at Access Opportunity, a non-profit organization in Colorado that supports high-potential students from low-income households to achieve their college and career goals. She’s a strong believer in collective action, and as such, has served in advisory roles with the National College Attainment Network, Prosperity Denver Fund, the Matchlighters Scholars Program, and Peak Education.

Nwede Chiamaka, USA 🇺🇸

Nwede Chiamaka is a dedicated graduate student at Rutgers University-Camden, pursuing Public Affairs and Community Development. As the founder of The Stellamaris Foundation, she passionately champions quality education for underprivileged children in Nigerian slums and rural areas, aligning with her advocacy for Sustainable Development Goals 4 and 16 – Quality Education and Peaceful & Inclusive Institutions. Nwede is not only a committed leader but also a proficient writer, education and public policy researcher. Her tireless efforts and strong belief in transformative change underscore her commitment to fostering a brighter future through education and inclusive institutions in Africa.

Puneet Singh Singhal, India 🇮🇳

Puneet Singh Singhal is a Disability Inclusion advocate and an accessibility professional. He is the founder of a nonprofit called s..s..start working towards empowering young persons with disabilities. He is also the Chief Discovery Officer for Billion Strong. In this role, he is using stories to provide a platform to persons with disabilities from the global south.

Pushpa Dangal, Nepal 🇳🇵

Pushpa Dangal is a B.A.LL.B student at Kathmandu School of Law. She is a human rights enthusiast also serving as a research associate at Initiatives for Business and Human Rights. She is thrilled to join the Peace First ambassador cohort for the second time and is forward to the enriching experiences.

Ramdani, Indonesia 🇮🇩

Ramdani has been passionate about youth empowerment and community since a young age. His drive led him to create a platform for inspiring changemakers to share, connect, and foster sustainable projects. Over the past 5 years, he has actively participated in both international and national projects aimed at empowering young people. In 2023, he was honored with the Diana Award for humanitarian and social impact. Additionally, as an Ambassador for Peace First, he will use his voice to educate and advocate for the importance of courage, compassion, and collaboration in our lives.

Sandra Daniel, Nigeria 🇳🇬

Sandra Daniel, A Girl Child Advocate, is on a mission to redefine the narrative for young girls in Africa. Armed with compassion and unwavering determination, she stands as a voice, promoting and up-skilling young girls through sensitization, outreaches and support programs via her initiative Girl Evolve. With a background in promoting the UN SDG 5 (Gender equality), Sandra brings expertise and empathy to the forefront, driving impactful change in the lives of others. Her journey is a proof to the transformative power of advocacy, illustrating how one dedicated individual can make a profound difference in the lives of those who need it most. Sandra Daniel is a beacon of hope and resilience for Girl children everywhere.

Sheeba Allie, India 🇮🇳

Sheeba is a 21-year old from Kashmir. Coming from a conflict affected region where access to quality education and opportunities are limited, she dreams of empowering her community and fostering a positive change. Her aim is to help young students explore their emotions, inculcate empathy, and discover their unique voices to make sense of the conflict and the trauma associated with it. With the help of the Peace First Ambassador program, She is resolute in catalyzing substantial change, and sparking a transformative wave across her community and beyond.

Stephen P. Ben, Liberia 🇱🇷

Stephen P. Ben is an enthusiastic and impact-oriented founder, ambassador, and volunteer with over two years of experience in nonprofit leadership. After experiencing low self-confidence, discrimination, and social isolation due to a severe stutter from birth, Stephen developed a passion for advocacy and campaigning for a just world full of equity. He has worked tirelessly to empower marginalized communities and promote equal access to opportunities by co-leading and volunteering with a series of organizations and initiatives. Stephen is currently an undergraduate student at the University of Liberia, pursuing a degree in Economics with a focus on Mathematics.

Tetiana Krytsun, United Kingdom 🇬🇧

Tetiana Krytsun is a professional Ukrainian lawyer, an expert in the field of access to information and data protection. She is a refugee from Ukraine and she is currently working and living in the UK. She has experience in teaching, developing analytical materials, conducting legal research, as well as presenting research to foreign audiences. Experience of participation in international projects in the role of organizer, participant, research scientist - about 5 years. She is also an experienced organizer of scientific and practical and cultural events, as well as sociological research. Tatyana is also a scientist and has already published more than 20 scientific articles on research in various areas of law.

Tex Wambui, USA 🇺🇸

Tex's passions include social justice, community engagement, and improving education and energy accessibility. With three impactful years in AmeriCorps, he has witnessed grassroots efforts spark real change. He envisions illuminating Sub-Saharan Africa with electricity access and advocating for robust state-level policies to enhance college and career readiness, ensuring better postsecondary outcomes. Beyond advocacy, He finds joy in comedy and cooking.

Violeta Ramírez Guarín , Colombia 🇨🇴

Violeta has a Master in Psychosocial Intervention from the University of Barcelona. Violeta has focused her efforts on the study of empowerment and recovery of children and adolescents affected by political violence. Based on this research, Violeta believes that in order to heal the wounds of the armed conflict, great efforts must be made to build a culture of peace. For this reason, with the support of APCEIU, Violeta founded Paz para Mambrú, an initiative that seeks to promote peace education in early childhood. Violeta hopes to continue contributing to the formation of citizens capable of establishing peaceful relationships.

Walter Okwir, Uganda 🇺🇬

Walter is a passionate advocate from Uganda and a dynamic founder of Youth Inclusion and Empowerment Network (YIEN), a pioneering organization focused on bridging Menstrual Health and Hygiene gaps and empowering adolescent girls and young women in Kayunga district. Walter’s efforts have helped ensure increased access to menstrual hygiene products, improving school enrollments and retention within his community. His profound commitment to Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights and Gender Equality is evident in YIEN’s extensive efforts to uplift voices and address the holistic needs of girls and women. Beyond his advocacy, Walter’s multifaceted talents as a photographer and community organizer have earned him notable recognitions and roles.
