Who is Fairoosa?

Fairoosa is a 24-year-old change-maker from Kerala, India. She is passionate about women, agriculture and gender equality. She started her initiative KRISHIKA in the wayanad district of Kerala and trained 14 women in mushroom production. Today, the women’s group have 2 mushroom enterprises. She hopes to expand her initiative to more women groups and marginalized communities through entrepreneurship training programmes across villages. KRISHIKA also creates a platform for young women to learn agriculture in the fields.
